Day 12 The Burner Bar > Revelstoke

Beautiful beautiful day!!!! Rob dropped me off at The Burner and off I peddled to Revelstoke. Just as he was out of sight I felt the first drop of rain. I looked up & saw a small cloud overhead. Picture the cartoon Wacky Races & yes you've got that Dick Dasteredly moment! The rain stayed overhead for 50km of steady up hill travel. I was absolutely drenched when Rob caught up with me in Revelstoke! He had been playing golf in glorious weather just down the road! Anyway we are well and truly in the Rockies now. I'm having a couple of days off chilling and catching up with washing & friends then it's onwards & upwards!

Jo, what a fab journey you are on! Amazing to even tackle such a challenge and for a very worthy cause, well done you! We had our LLR AGM last night, we talked about your bike ride and everyone was so impressed. I hope you make a tonne of money and have a wonderful experience to boot!

Keep up the good work, and the photos too
Lots of love
