Day 33 Somerset > Altona

Friday woke to another beautiful day but still have a head wind. Had a trial run with trailer on my bike and panniers on Michele’s. All good but we are going to have a lot of extra weight to tow. Michele is busy ditching clothes for chocolate thankfully she is keeping the huggies. Battled on all morning passing fields on both sides of the road on fire. Manitoba is on major fire alert because of a very dry spell. Faye checked the road ahead and although our eyes stung we passed through without a hitch. My map sadly let us down when we encountered 20km of gravel road after 80km we were already getting tired and we struggled to find a way through. Once we were back on the good road we decided to call it a day. Exhausted and covered in dust. Total 110  km
