Day 42 Proctor

Sunday – Last night our friends Bill and Jill drove down from Thunder Bay to meet us. We took a tour of Duluth and the shore of Lake Superior and went out for one of the best meals I have ever had. The whole experience was emotional. Good food, good wine, good friends and good job we made it! We woke this morning to more storms and decided to take the time with our friends and drive out and discover the area. A lovely day visiting the small communities on the Lake. The were signs of past wealth with brick housing and stores and very quaint docks used for fishing. We feasted on the local mouthwatering smoked fish and fresh artisan bread washed down with some fabulous wine. All in all a perfect rest day.
