Day 6 – Ouch!! Duffy Lake Road

Oouch! Never going to say “tomorrow should be easier! ” Yes only another 400meters to summit but hadn’t realized I would stay at over 4,000 meters for 70km only dropping briefly & climbing back up again. The last 10km fell sharply my legs were tired & my shoulders ached but I had seen the last of the coastal mountain range. Lots of wildlife on the roads Deer, Big Horn Sheep and Horses all very bemused staying on the road whilst Lycra Woman passed by!
Michele cann’t wait to see you & a cold beer. Don’t forget some spokes for your bike just impossible to buy! Wow that sounds serious. P.s the train schedule could come in handy oops hope nobody reads this!!!
Jonny get your head down and make me proud. Good luck.
Sandra I’m not doing Champagne breakfasts anymore. They are far too messy! Last time I ended up wearing an incredibly ridiculous thing my head & having a Forest tattoo! Oh I think I could handle a trip to diggers though it smells like the outhouses I’m using everyday here! Forest scores please!!!!!
Well folks leaving civilization tomorrow – will blog when I get signal again.
