Day 24 Gull Lake > Cadillac

Tuesday – heading south today to catch on to the Redcoat Trail. Strong head wind for the first 44 km barely moving and very frustrating. Michele took a break on account of her saddle sores! She’s trying Indians instead of cowboys from now on! Highlight of the morning was spotting a cougar at Swift Currant Creek incredible to see one so close to the road. Once we had turned due east on the Redcoat trail the wind made traveling easier and Michele joined me for the afternoon ride. We met Martin a local rancher who drove over on a Quad to have a chat. Then further on we met Brian, William & son Ron drilling mustard with a 65 ft drill. Around the next bend we saw Bison grazing along the road side. Amazing day with incredible vistas- I could easily live here. Made camp in Cadillac.very basic again but good fun and lots of giggling in the RV.
