Day28 Weyburn > Carlyle

Sunday: After I was attacked by three dogs on the highway last night and having to use my bike as a shield. Today’s plan was to leave Michele behind me as dog bait! All was going well until we came face to face with a large Angusx Charolais bull stood in front of us on the highway looking very angry. We back tracked to the nearest farm and hid in the ditch until we were rescued by a fast approaching RV. Loaded the bikes and passed by without a hitch. Landscape changed to a country ravaged by the discovery of oil. No more farms just pollution all for the combustion engine which we have no use for anymore. When you think we can talk, compute on something small enough to fit in your pocket it’s a shame we can’t develope transportation at the same speed. Guess its held back with greed. Hell how serious am I! Must be the sun stroke. Back to
the job. Michele has changed her bike saddle. She has been used to something far tooooo big for toooo long and has finally realized she is much happier with something smaller between her legs (no more chafing). Great day covered 130km but very tired and dusty. Camped and cooked supper for mummy Faye – it’s mothers day here today. We played our instruments – we gave Faye sleigh bells so she’s part of the band now we are practicing for our first gig. The 49ers are touring but as yet no interest in our professional talent! Everyone in every town is in baffled by our awesome musical abilities!
Weather sunny very hot. Wind NW
Road kill1x pheasant 1x fox 1x porcupine 2x snakes
Almost 1 x bull would have been good cos the greyhounds hungry!
