Saturday - Michele's last day. I left early so Michele could shower and moisturize. In fact it took three hours to complete this ritual.

June 9, 2012 12:00 amFriday > bright and sunny start so set off early. Michele still in bed dreaming of what could have been with odd Job from next door! (we found out he was a renovator) Made a detour for a good breakfast in a truck stop.
June 8, 2012 12:00 amThursday> the sun was out and your absolutely right Netty- what a difference a day makes! Picked the bike up and road through town. A guy on a mountain bike stopped me to admire my bike then proposed to me telling me he thought I was pretty - it was then I realized he must take drugs!
June 8, 2012 12:00 amWednesday. Not so good today. We had a day off yesturday and enjoyed driving down to Niagara Falls with the kids.
June 7, 2012 12:00 amSunday > headed along the highway and after a short while I saw a large turtle on the road side. Michele was overcome with a animal rescue plan but as the turtle was basically inbetween the road and the traintracks I do think his days were numbered. He was huge as you will see once I get these next photos online.
June 7, 2012 12:00 amSaturday > we peddled away along the shore of Lake Superior. Stopping to take in the fabulous views in every cove. Lunched in the pretty town of Munising and continued on the more remote stretch towards Newberry until the kids picked us up after just over 100 km.
June 6, 2012 12:00 amFriday > Left Charlotte and Jim fishing and headed out climbed for the first 40km. We have seen numerous deer all along the route but today was my first bear sighting. It loped along the other side of the road and was quite large but seriously not interested in the traffic on the road.
June 1, 2012 12:00 amThursday - Lovely morning sunny but cold. Early start with 30km of hill climbing to start the day. I reached my 3000km and we celebrated over breakfast at a ski resort log cabin.
June 1, 2012 12:00 amWednesday> Set out at 8am but within a km it was 9am no we are not that slow we had another time change. Only 5 hours between here and home. We are still travelling along the south shore of Lake superior.
June 1, 2012 12:00 amTuesday > Had breakfast watching a passing rain storm - today would be a shower dodging day for sure. Michele ordered a small breakfast of two eggs and a loaf of bread. She was still peckish so polished off a pancake slab trying all three sauces - Bo Derek - maybe not!
